June 15, 2010 the museum was reopened after a long renovation.nThe reconstruction envisaged the division of the museum into three separate sections with 3D cinema, an audiovisual touchscreen, and information on the history of Barcelona. The first section includes a collection of photographs, documents and trophies, a detailed history of the club on the interactive glass wall. The second part is a private collection of works of art on permanent display at the museum, which features works by Catalan artists, including Dali and Tàpies. In the third section, the collection of football art shows various memorable football artifacts that the club has received in its entire history, including a trophy room with all the cups, or copies, that the club has ever won.nOne of the exhibits in the collection are the boots, in which Ronald Koeman scored a penalty goal in 1992 in the Champions League final in the 111th minute at the Sampdoria team.nThe museum ranks second after the Picasso Museum as the most visited museum in Barcelona.
