Berlin Television Tower

Berlin Television Tower is a 368-meter structure, which is the tallest in Germany and ranks fourth in height in Europe.nWork on the construction of the tower, established by the Post of Germany (DDR), went from 1965 to 1969 in the historical center of Berlin. Today the tower is an integral part of the architectural appearance of the city, its symbol and important landmark. In many films related to Berlin, the television tower appears in the initial frames, along with such symbols of the city as the Brandenburg Gate, the Victory Column and the Reichstag building.nThe observation floor is located at an altitude of 203 m. A rotating restaurant is located just above.nIn 1979, the Berlin Television Tower was granted the status of a monument in the DDR, which was not lost even after the restoration of the unity of Germany.
