Reichstag

The Reichstag is a historic building in Berlin, where in 1894–1933, the eponymous German state body, the Reichstag of the German Empire and the Reichstag of the Weimar Republic, met. In 1945, in the Soviet Union, the building of the German parliament was declared the main symbol of Nazi Germany. Stalin ordered to hoist the Victory Banner on it. Since 1999, the Bundestag has been housed in a reconstructed Reichstag building.nThe German Bundestag is the most visited parliament in the world. The question of preserving the inscriptions of Soviet soldiers on the Reichstag was discussed in the 1990s during its reconstruction. In 1996, obscene inscriptions were removed and only 159 graffiti was left. On the inside of the left pediment also kept traces of bullets.
